The Story
In the 30s, Guasco and Ester Pennacchio moved into this enchanting house, located in the historic centre of the ancient medieval village of Bardolino. Here their six children were born - Mimma, Mariuccia, Vaifro, Nini, Pierino and Luisa - who lived with their parents for many years.
As time went by, some of them married, but every time they had the chance, they returned to that house, which for many years remained their place of the heart, the meeting point for the whole family.
The house was acquired in 1978 by the three sisters Luisa, Mimma and Mariuccia, which is why the rooms bear their names.
In 1998, Luisa, the last caretaker of the house, married and moved away. From then on, the house was used only sporadically and, over the years, began to show signs of time.
Today, thanks to a radical restoration, this home with an ancient soul has come back to life, preserving its historical identity. The interior of the house has been renovated with particular attention to preserving the characteristic wooden-beamed ceilings. The façade of the house has been restored to its former glory through restoration and decoration by experienced local artists.
Our family is pleased to welcome you to Ca' del Guasco.
